The Kingdom of Heaven is the most sought after promise of all mankind. Men and women, boys and girls, all over say and think they want heaven. Some even go as far as to claim they believe in heaven. People do all sorts of things, rituals, practices, and the like in order to purchase a ticket into the Pearly Gates of Heaven. No matter the religion, creed, belief system, or lack thereof, everyone wants a piece of the promised pie, whether one calls it heaven, nirvana, eternal bliss, freedom, everlasting life, or simply eternal peace. Deep down in our souls, every one of us feels there is something we lack and we deeply desire to obtain it in this life, and for certain in the next. That includes you and me. I know, undoubtedly, that my heart’s desire truly is to experience the Presence of God, all the days of my life. Today. Tomorrow. And forever more.

It is written, “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand,” and “The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand. Repent ye, and believe the gospel.” These words, often quoted but rarely understood, are said to be spoken by a well-known King, the King of kings to be exact. Anything said by a king is worth hearing, and this one not only heads a Kingdom of kings, but can build you a house, heal you, give sight to the blind, in addition to understanding to the hard of hearing. If He says Heaven is at hand, change your mind, and believe, we should listen, hear, and apply the King of kings words to our present lives.

At hand is better stated as: is near you, in your grasp, in your midst, or as it is written: “behold, the Kingdom of God is within you.” Do you believe the good report from the One called the Way, and the Truth, and the Life? There is power in one’s belief, you know. To believe is to see a matter as true and real, with conviction and confidence. Belief is when you know that something is true and no amount of convincing by anyone, or yourself, can change your mind. Some say beliefs change over time. I tend to disagree. Sentiments, opinions, and conduct change, evolve, and adapt. But the beliefs of an individual soul do not. They may be forgotten, for a time. Or merely hidden by our pretending to be good people pursuing and hoping for good lives.

What is likely, concerning our true beliefs, we are or have been neglecting our belief about what is true because of inaction. What do you believe that requires action on your part?

What is the Kingdom? A kingdom can be described as the reign and authority of a king and their dominion over land, territory, possessions, and people. A kingdom is the king and his dominion over all that he owns. Does GOD have dominion over you? Does GOD have authority over your being and all that you possess? Is GOD your King? YAH is our Father, our King. Thus, what must be true is we are royal heirs and all family. We are one, by nature of inheritance, with the Kingdom of GOD, for it is within.

We are not of the kingdoms of animals, plants, nor minerals. Mankind is the expressed image and likeness of its Maker. The Father of man is true and trustworthy, and according to our Father’s likeness we were made. For it is written, “Elohim created man in His own image,” as “male and female created He them.” Man did not evolve into what he is today, mankind is made in the image of God. Each of us, male or female, regardless of familial origin, nationality, beliefs, or status, is an individual expression of the Living God. The Father is One mind likened in infinite beings, expressed as joints of One body, assembled under the authority of One truth, the right of the Spirit of Truth. God is Spirit, God is Holy, and God is Truth. The Presence of God in an individual being that is recognized by that individual as true, trustworthy, and without doubt is the Holy Spirit shining the Light of God on their souls. When the Spirit of God becomes the king of our lives and we believe it, inevitably we’ve entered into Heaven’s gates, into everlasting peace, and received our true inheritance. Do you accept the good news?

Repentance is misunderstood as sorrow or guilt over one’s past behavior, and that guilt renews the next carnal mishap. To repent simply means to change one’s mind; and where the mind goes the body will follow, especially for those able-bodied and carnally minded. Repentance therefore, is the individualized upgrading of a person’s thoughts, emotions, attitudes, and deeds upon receiving true information. We are not to repent from something and feel sorrow, heaven forbid it.

We are to repent because of something, or someone, our Father, who has spoken and made His Presence known to all who seek first the Kingdom and His righteousness. Do you have something that is more important ruling your life?

When an individual seeks and finds the truth about the Kingdom and righteousness of God everything in their life begins to change. You begin to think right and feel alive. Love, joy, peace, and righteousness become your daily delight. The Light that you become is fruitful, humble, kind, faithful, and grounded in truth. Your presence becomes rejoicing for others and when they hear you speak about your glad tidings, may they shout HalleluYAH Amen. Selah.
