The tests of faith rarely, if ever, are external. What do you believe? Who are you truly? Who is your master? This interrogation must first take place in the heart before one is tested in the wilderness of this world. What is my purpose, truly? Where am I going? Questions such as these require one to focus on the true meaning and value of their lives. The honest man will admit that cowardice, selfishness, and failure are a result of his own ignorance, and no one is to blame but himself. Not his parents, the system, friends, nor enemies are to blame. Just myself, acknowledges the honest and just one. On the contrary, the dishonest, untrustworthy man is the one who claims he is perfect and without need of improvement. This one is a liar to themselves, to their kin, and a fraud amongst men. Many of this age are frauds, lying and deceiving others into believing this man is good. No one is good but the Father.
To remain stagnant is to die, to be dishonest about your own character is to suffocate slowly to the point the desire to breathe becomes forgotten. Forgetfulness is a disease and symptom of the same root; the absence of fathers in our lives. Our forefathers failed to seed a clear vision of manhood and order. Very few acknowledge our Father in Heaven and many who are blinded by their own vanity are unable to father themselves or their offspring. This is possibly why the good die young, because our world lacks order. Where are all the men of faith? The upright ones are unseen, unheard, and protected by the Most High. Selah
